Where we are

We are located in Central NJ in the Monroe Township Community Center. Address is 120 Monmouth Road, Monroe Township NJ 08831

Fees

There is a $25 annual fee charged by Monroe Township, for the Photography Club, which is due at the beginning of each year. There is also a $10 fee for an entry key to the Community Center. Checks are made payable to Monroe Recreation.

Who we are and what we do

 

The Monroe Photography Club is an open to all adult residents of Monroe Township who have an interest in digital photography and desire to improve and express their photographic and artistic skills. This includes beginners, intermediate, advanced, and professional photographers. 

We conduct workshops where we present various photographic topics ranging from photo-editing using Photoshop to Seeing Photographically. We also conduct critiques were we critique our images in an effort to improve our photographic skills.

 

Mission Statement

The objectives of the Monroe Photography Club shall be:

 

  1. To provide rewarding experiences for photographers wishing to improve technical and artistic image-making skills.
  2. To provide opportunities for (its) Members hands-on experiences to increase their image-making abilities.
  3. To promote the art of photography throughout the community.

This will be accomplished through a combination of lectures/presentations, workshops, critiques and competitions led by our more knowledgeable members and specially-invited, experienced photographers from the State of New Jersey.
